To the nation's delight Strictly Come Dancing's live shows went ahead in the Autumn of 2020. After a tumultuous year the entire production team, cast and crew bubbled together to ensure the live series could be broadcast to the nation.
Mission
Each show featured remote links with celebrities, friends and family, judges and VIPs. Due to COVID-19 these guests couldn't come to the studio to film, so they needed to be produced and filmed at home remotely. Strictly invited Limitless back for the 2020 live series, to remotely film short segments for VT inserts and guest interviews as part of each live show.
Impact
Limitless proved their flexibility by accommodating shifting celebrity filming schedules at short notice. Each week different celebrities, VIPs, friends or families of couples were brought on-board to film their respective segments. The clips were inserted into various VT packages throughout the show, and helped connect loved ones with each of the dancing couples.
