House of Vans Live Music Production

Black Sparrow Presents approached Limitless for help in remotely filming and producing 4 live bands/artists for House of Vans' live music competition, Musicians Wanted. Filming took place during the UK's COVID-19 lockdown period and no international travel was possible. Several artists were located in mainland Europe and so the technique had to be scalable onto the continent.
Challenge
Limitless were the perfect match offering our remote production MCR and expertise in live broadcast. We sent wireless streaming kits out to all artists that were easy to set up and user friendly. We were able to film a full music shoot with each artist and remotely record each individual track to a high standard.
Method
The production team was based in our MCR, with control over camera shots, and audio. The team were able to direct and interview each artist through their shoot and for the live show. All content was transferred back to the UK who were able to process footage before delivering electronically to the post-house.
